Eve is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Art degree in Counseling with specialization in Clinical Mental Health from Waynesburg University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Among her areas of training and experience are the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma and stress-related disorders, women’s issues, pregnancy/postpartum, and life transitions. Additionally, she has experience working with survivors of violence, including domestic violence and sexual assault. Eve uses an integrative approach with treatment methods and techniques to meet the specific needs of each client. She uses several treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, and person-centered therapies. Eve uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. EMDR is a powerful psychotherapy method to help individuals heal from trauma, PTSD, anxiety and other negative life experiences. Additionally, she is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
A key component to her work is providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment. She believes successful therapy begins with building a strong therapeutic alliance. Eve wants to empower individuals by providing support, and help them achieve goals to unveil the person’s fullest potential.
